Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
Students will research a topic that they wish to investigate that will be realised in Final Major Project 2. This self directed project is supported by a short series of lectures; studio based workshops and supervised practical work. Students create a visual journal that is used for both formative and summative assessment. Negotiation and liaison with their topic will be monitored during seminar sessions and a plan of action will be drawn up to map out the management of their project. At the conclusion of this semester the student will be required to submit a detailed report which outlines in detail their idea along with a plan of how they will undertake their project. This needs to state the predicted outcomes including methods of production and the domain for which their work is intended.
