To introduce a range of key practical considerations for advanced video production via rapid turnaround video acquisition and postproduction.

Learning Teaching & Assessment Strategy:
Theoretical and technical information about video production is delivered through an initial lecture followed by a series of workshops/tutorials. Presented with a weekly theme, students individually produce short video products, working with the minimum of planning and receive formative feedback during the following workshop/tutorial session. Students will create a portfolio of films and select 6 from this as their assessed submission.

Lone working for video production, health and safety, framing, single camera video acquisition, techniques for capturing movement, continuity, audio acquisition, guided production projects , non-linear editing, post production audio/video.
