Scope:
Wireless
communication along with mobile computing are becoming a necessity rather than
a luxury, and with a wide range of application domains which include
smart environments, wireless sensor networks, health care, industry, multimedia
applications and intelligent transport systems just to name few. This
advancement in wireless and mobile technologies introduces new challenging
requirements and issues for researchers.
The Performance
Analysis and Enhancement of Wireless Networks (PAEWN’12) will represent an
international forum for researchers from both academia and industry to expose
the latest trends, research findings, and emerging issues in wireless and
mobile computing. This workshop will focus on the development and
application of analytical modelling, simulation,
prototype testbed, and measurement-based performance
evaluation techniques to the area of wireless and mobile communication
networks.
The topics of
interest include, but are not limited to:
· Stochastic modelling and performance evaluation of wireless, sensor
and mobile networks and devices
·
Design and analysis of wireless networks and protocols
·
Quality of Service provisioning in wireless/mobile systems
·
Wireless/Mobile network architectures
·
Resource and data management in mobile, wireless and ad hoc networks
·
